The idea of FIT MUM came to me when I became pregnant with my first baby, back in 2008. Having been passionately involved in fitness and wellness all my life, I was surprised at how difficult it was to find a proper way and a ‘feel good’ place to exercise safely during my pregnancy and later on as a mum.
So I focused on researching the best way for me and the growing baby in my tummy to be and stay fit and healthy. I practiced yoga, relaxation and meditation and appropriate aerobic workouts. I was determined to have a powerful delivery experience. I wanted to be in control and prepared and in the best possible mental and physical shape for the big day….When the time came, everything went so quickly…… I didn’t even realize and I was back at home with my new born baby, with the feeling of having achieved my goal!
Soon, my son Stefan was growing and along with him, similarly fast, my need for a physical workout, not only for fitness, but also as something I do just for me. I made the decision to create a way for new mums like myself to have access to specialized support and training during such an important stage in their lives. It has been 5 years,I have two children now and I find that I have gained not only a career I truly enjoy, but a community of happy and healthy mums who are always striving to be the best they can be for themselves and their babies.

Agata’s passion for sports and fitness (although she wouldn’t have called it that at the time) began at the early age of six with gymnastics at the local community centre. She quickly discovered that being physically strong, feeling her body respond and harnessing that energy was something she would always strive toward.
Agata pursued and achieved a professional volleyball career in early adolescence, which lasted well into adulthood. She began to study fitness and health in 2001 obtaining the “Aerobics and Fitness Exercise” National Fitness Certification in Poland. She studied in the Reebok Fitness School achieving master certifications in Step Exercise and Choreography. She graduated from Inka Szymanski Fitness School, the most prestigious fitness school in Poland. In March 2005 Agata was awarded the title of APF High Level Fitness Instructor. In the same year she, graduated university with a Master’s Degree in Architecture and Urban Design.
In October 2005, Agata came to Ireland and fell in love with Yoga. She studied at The Yoga Room in Sandymount, and obtained Yoga Teacher diploma. A qualification recognised worldwide by the Yoga community. She also obtained the National Qualification in Pre and Post Natal Exercise in Ireland and in 2010, and celebrated the successful launch of Fit MUM. In 2011 she obtained Pregnancy Yoga teacher title through Elbow Room and Trust in Birth in Ireland, and started lecturing about Active Birth.
In January 2015 Agata completed Kids Yoga teacher training with Rainbow Kids Yoga and is now certified Kids Yoga teacher, teaching and exploring fun and creative Kids Yoga world!
Agata continues to develop her understanding of fitness and overall mental well-being through education, personal study and daily practice.
